Wedding Photography | Williams

Lyndsay and Ron had a beautiful fall wedding at the FFA Center in Trafalgar. It was complete with fall and nature inspired decorations at the reception and an amazing log cabin for the ceremony! It was a beautiful day with full cooperation from the weather. Congratulations!

Announcements

I am still looking for senior reps! Each senior rep gets their session completely free! Then, you hand out referral cards with your picture on them and for every session I book because of your card, you get a $10 credit. You could potentially get $500 worth of prints free since you get 50 cards to pass out. Senior reps are limited to two per school!

And speaking of referral cards, check out this great new product I have for moms! They're Mommy cards. You can use them to set up play dates with other mommy's.

I have tons of ready made designs just waiting for you. They can be recolored and fonts can be changed to your liking. Back sides are optional. They can be left blank, they can be set up like an appointment card with an area to fill in date, time, and place, or you can put all the info on one side and have the other side be filled with a picture.
Mommy cards come in packs of 50 and $40 per pack.
One final announcement, be sure to book your session before the 22nd of this month to get your prints back in time for Halloween.

Prices

Book your session before September 30th and receive 50% off your session fee!

Sessions are $100.

What does a session include?
In-home or outdoor location shooting.
Unlimited outfit changes.
No strict time limits.

I want you to relax and have a good time.
Your session is all about capturing you, as you are.
That's why I don't enforce strict time limits or outfit changes.

Babies, children, and family sessions generally last 1-2 hours.

Locations are your choice and I have outdoor areas to recommend as well. I'm not super strict on time limits because I want to make sure we get all the shots we can. Not only that but I want you, as well as me, to walk away feeling satisfied with the shoot. There are no limits on clothing changes or locations. A travel fee will be required for locations more than 20 miles from Greenwood.

Mini-Sessions are also available. Mini sessions are $50, one hour, and one location. Mini sessions are great for individuals and holidays. For instance, if you need a picture for your Christmas card but don't want to do a whole session, the mini session would work great.

Self Portrait

So, I'm going to do a self portrait a week. Not just any old self portrait though. I've come up with a theme I'm going to stick with from week to week as a way of challenging myself creatively and I'm going to share them here. The theme I've chosen is song lyrics.
This week's lyrics are, "Now I've got to love your love letters written on my skin", from the song 2 A.M. by Alexz Johnson. The song as a whole is basically, she's been heartbroken but, she might still want to be with him.
Don't forget, book your session before September 30th and get 50% off your session fee and a special gift with your print purchase!

Little Z Sneek Peek

Here's a sneek peek from today's session with Little Z. He definitely gave me my daily exercise! He just kept running around the whole time with an occasional pause, look around, and then run off again. What do you expect though, his mobility is newly found and he's taking advantage!

Sneak Peek

I had a photo shoot yesterday with a dear friend of mine. She lives in Georgia and is up here visiting family for the summer while her husband, who's in the army, is in New Mexico for a while. She's really missing him so we had a great beauty shoot so she can send him some great photos when he gets back to Georgia. Next week I'm also doing a shoot with her little girl that's about to be 4!! I can't believe it! She's such a big girl now! Look forward to her shoot for the reddest hair you've ever seen! Even redder than her momma's!

By the way, I'm dragging this out because the anticipation is killing Ms. S and I like that. Okay, here's your sneak peek photo!
Her favorite red pumps! What? That's not a good enough sneak peek? Oh, okay, how's this?
It was a fun shoot and I enjoyed our drinks afterwards!
By the way, beauty shoots are great mini-sessions which are $50, one hour, and one location.

What? Good pictures of my son? Impossible.

No, really, it is possible. It's a very rare occasion but, it's possible. I have proof!

That last one just might find a spot on my wall!

Sneak Peek

I did a couples shoot today with a good friend of mine. We went down to Anderson Falls in Columbus and got some great shots. At one point I even got into water up to my mid-thigh but hey, I got the shot! After all, isn't that what dedication is all about?

Here's a little sneak peek!

McBee Family

The McBee family is too cute! The kids are quite wild when it comes to getting their picture taken and I only get 1 useable photo out of about every 10 shots but, the shots that I do get are always worth running around after them!
This is probably the best one I got of these three together as well as a "behind the scenes" shot of trying to get everyone setting together and looking the same direction.
Mia decided to play in the dirt...and then show it off.
The whole family together....
but not for long!
You're all just too cute for words!

Kaylee

Kaylee is my fiance's other sister. Kaylee, Alexis, and I drove around and found quite a few places to get some pictures as fast as we could to avoid the rain and get the last bit of sunlight that was available on that foggy day. We also drove around until we could find a field, it wasn't the perfect field I had been looking for but, it worked!
And of course, our dog had to get a turn with her as well. I used it to my advantage though and got creative with him.

Alexis

Alexis is my fiance's little sister. His family lives in Oklahoma and are up visiting for a while. Alexis and their other sister spent the night with us to go to the pre-opening party for the new Incredible Pizza. We decided to keep them an extra day to get some new pictures of them before they go back!

Meet our dog Chuck! He likes to be in the center of attention so, he got a turn in the photos too.
Look forward to his other sister in the next post!

Ian

This little guy was so cute. I just love his hat!

Along the way, he got a splinter in his finger from the wood fencing and his mom came to the rescue!
I just HAD to share this picture, it was too cute to keep to myself!

Kyissa

Kyissa replied to my casting call on Model Mayhem and I'm glad she did. She was a great model to work with and gave me countless excellent shots! You can find Kyissa on Model Mayhem, #619220.

Speaking of Senior Reps...

First of all, what's a senior rep? Well, a Senior Rep (representative) is basically an advertiser for me. Seniors chosen for the rep program receive their session for free. Then, we will choose their favorite picture from the shoot and I'll make a rep card with it. A rep card is business card sized and has your photo and name on one side, and then my info and a special discount on the back side. You get 50 rep cards to pass out. For every senior that books a session with your card, you get $5 off your prints. That senior that used your card for their session gets 8 free wallets. It's a win-win for both of you!
Senior reps are limited to two per school. The only requirement for becoming a rep is that you must be a good representative. That means pass out all of your cards to the other seniors and be recommending Melissa Brewer Photography to everyone!
Here's an example of a senior rep card:
(The card is white, the black is just there so you know where it ends)
I'm still looking for reps so contact me now to sign up!!
